 Wrestlers Protest: Famous wrestlers of the country are protesting against Wrestling Federation President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh at Jantar Mantar. On Saturday, Priyanka Gandhi supported the wrestlers by reaching the protest site.

Wrestlers Protest Jantar Mantar: Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi (Priyanka Gandhi) reached Jantar Mantar on Saturday (April 29) morning to support the strike of wrestlers. Congress MP Deepender Hooda also accompanied him. Saturday is the seventh day of the wrestlers' dharna at Jantar Mantar. Wrestlers' strike continues even after the FIR was registered against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh on Friday.

Priyanka Gandhi said after meeting the wrestlers, 2 FIRs have been registered but the copy has not been received. When two FIRs have been registered then why was the copy not given. The Congress leader raised the question that the investigation is going on, so why hasn't he resigned yet. 

He said, there are many girls with whom this has happened. I want to understand why the government is saving them. I have no hope from the Prime Minister. When you brought the medal, you were called home, why are you not calling now. Why is so much being done to save this man (Brijbhushan Sharan Singh).

Kejriwal will meet on Saturday

Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal will meet the players protesting at Jantar Mantar on Saturday evening. Earlier on Friday evening, two ministers of the Delhi government, Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj, had met the women players. At the same time, the Delhi Police has called the wrestlers for a meeting.

FIR against Brij Bhushan Sharan

On Friday, the Delhi Police registered two FIRs against the President of the Wrestling Federation in the case of sexual harassment. In this, on the complaint of a minor wrestler, the POCSO Act has also been imposed against Singh. Delhi Police has told that investigation is being done on both the complaints. Earlier, the wrestlers had to go to the Supreme Court for the FIR.

Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh said about his resignation

After the registration of the FIR, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, President of the Wrestling Federation, has given a big statement regarding the resignation. He said that he is ready to resign if the players end the picketing and return home due to his resignation. However, he also said that his term has been completed and his resignation will automatically happen with the next election.
